#PeriodicWrap 30th January, 2017

Cybersecurity in this #PeriodicWrap is camouflaged, like this crab on the beach yesterday, among international innovation and innovator opportunities and skills development:

Applications are closing 3rd February for the UK Department of International Trade Start up games 28th February. Lots of benefits are listed at the site, including return business class airfares for the overall winner.

Australia this week announced it has established the Critical Infrastructure Centre within the Attorney General’s department; the UK government has announced Cybersecurity Critical National Infrastructure (CNI) Apprenticeships; and, TAFE QLD East Coast has commenced an Introduction to Coding course.

Finally, the British Australian Fintech Forum is leading a Fintech Trade Delegation to the UK 19th – 21st April 2017. There are a select number of sponsored spaces that may be available through the Australian British Chamber of Commerce.

Again, I am very much looking forward to speaking at the prestigious CFO Forum at Macquarie University with CAANZ next Monday, and have included at this #PeriodicWrap blog a short snippet on cybersecurity put together by InnovateMedia at the InnovationCentre Sunshine Coast for the Queensland Government Small Business in a Day event.

Have a good week ahead
